Off to the Zoo

Living in a big city has it's perks! We have so many fun things to do in our back yard, including a pretty great zoo!! Mommy and Daddy took a trip back at the end of May to CA with a few of our great friends. We all promised to get together again, and this time with the kids. We all happen to have kids the same age, so it works out nicely. The adults held our first annual wine club event on Friday night. It was full of good laughs, great wine, and fabulous company.

Saturday morning, we all met up at the Zoo. The first part of our trip was wonderful. You were all smiles. Then, my friend, you were in rare form. You were fairly fussy during the rest of the visit, which isn't like you at all. We made the best of it and you pulled through without a complete melt down.

Hanging out with the flamingos, waiting on Ty to arrive.

This is your second date to the zoo with Hudson. Last year, you were into grabbing each other's paci's. This year, it's hands :)

You loved the elephants!  They must remind you of Big Al.

The bird house was so much fun. You were very interested in the snack sticks that the birds were eating.

It was very hard to get a picture of all three kids together.

Checking out the hippos.

You loved pointing out the giraffes.

 And the meltdown begins....

The boys weren't sure what to think of it.

Sweet Ty was very concerned about you.

He's still keeping an eye on you to make sure you're ok.

The panda exhibit is always a thrill. They usually come close to the glass.

I love this photo! You and the panda are stretching in the air.

The petting zoo brought instant smiles to your face. You went around petting each and every goat you could.

You wanted to wake this sweet goat up.

Holding Mrs. Lindsi's hand.

Driving the school bus. Ty was your co-pilot, but he left right before I was able to snap a picture.

All-in-all we had a great day. You were so worn out by the end of the trip. You fell asleep within 5 minutes of getting into the car.
