Most notable:
- Your main form of communication has progressed from signing to speaking.
- You went from toddling to walking and now full on running.
- You've transitioned from a highchair to a booster seat and from a rear-facing car seat to a forward-facing one.
- You are eating three well-balanced meals, on your own, with a spoon and/or fork.
- There are no more bottles or sippies around and you've even stared using cups without lids.
- You went from a head full of peach fuzz, to a head full of beautiful curls.
- You went from needing your paci 24/7 to using it only at bedtime.
- You pretty much had a mouth full of teeth at 1, but you've added all of your molars and one of your two year old molars.
What else are your up to?
- You are our little sports girl. You really enjoy "playing" golf and have already developed quite the vocabulary around the sport.
- You love playing in your own "kitchen" and I find you making tea, washing your hands, and baking cookies in your oven quite frequently.
- Mickey and Minnie Mouse are still at the top of your favorites list. You received the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse activity center (similar to a little people set) for your birthday. I've never seen you play so independently, for such a long period of time.
- Little Einsteins has taken the top spot for TV, with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Super Why coming in as close runners up.
- Your favorite books are "Piggies," "The Tickle Monster," "Click Clack Moo," "Love Is You and Me," " The Pout Pout Fish," and "Ten Little Fishes."
- You are really beginning to like "school." The past two weeks, I've dropped you off and you haven't looked back. We're so proud!
- You are really participating in your prayers at night and say "thankful for" before each item of the day. It's fun to see what your little mind comes up with. Of course you spout off members of your family and your most prized possessions, but our favorites from the past weeks include: Daddy's basketball, Daisy girl, shoes, eyes, hair, paci, "other one" (the other paci), and cookies.
You are a happy, well-adjusted little girl. Not much bothers you- toys can be taken away and you don't miss a beat, you calmly find something else to play with. You are full of life and full of energy. You are always moving and most of the time dancing. People comment that you are "fun to watch" and "very animated." Momma and Daddy say you're silly and tend to keep us laughing. You've become a bit more snuggley, but you still don't stay very still.
