Grandmommy and Grandaddy have worked hard to make their house fun for the grandchildren. You, Megan and Max had a blast exploring the fun things they had for you.
You and Max checking out the "Big Ball." Usually, we'll hook the ball up to the hose and let the water squirt out of the sprinklers. That's the MOST fun!
In the ball pit.
First time on a tire swing!
Sitting on the big girl swing!
Most of our weekend was spent on Lake Keowee. This was really fun for me to share with you. Lake Keowee was literally in our backyard growing up. We spent countless days on the lake during the summer months. I have so many great memories on the lake and I'm thrilled I was able to introduce you to this!
This was your first visit and certainly not your last. You had a blast! You loved riding in the boat, although you weren't thrilled wearing a life jacket.
You and Megan had fun eating goldfish and singing songs!
Uncle Bill took us to a little island towards the dam. I was a bit nervous about how you'd react to the water. You quickly showed me that my worries were silly. You LOVED the water. You giggled and ran head first into the water. You'd lean backwards, float on your back and then kick your legs, giggling the entire time. When you'd had enough you'd say "all done" and then I'd grab your hands and stand you back up. We repeated this process the entire island stay.
You had fun laying on the shore and, yes, eating the dirt.
Seeing the lake through your eyes brought us so much joy. My heart burst with excitement watching you explore the environment around you.
The boys certainly enjoyed themselves too :)
You were flat worn out by the end of the day!
