We had a very full and wonderful Easter weekend. You were able to spend time with both sets of grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. What a treat!
On Saturday, I rehearsed Easter music with the choir while Daddy, Mimi, and Grandaddy Smooth took you to the PRUMC egg hunt. There, you met up with Max and Megan to hunt eggs. I hear you had a blast! Daddy was in charge and snapped some wonderful pictures.
On Sunday, you woke up to an Easter basket full of goodies.... some of your eggs were filled with stickers and others with cheerios. You got a new straw cup with Abby and Elmo, an Abby bath book, and a set of wooden play food. The Easter bunny knows you well :) Mimi and Smooth gave you a basket full of goodies as well, including a stuffed duck that you adore! and tools to dig in the dirt (which you've already gotten good use out of!).
I had to be at church very early, since I had to sing at all three services. Grandmommy and Grandaddy helped out tremendously by feeding you breakfast and getting you ready for church. The service was beautiful, as always. We feel so blessed to be back at PRUMC!
After church, Uncle Bob and Aunt Susie hosted a wonderful Easter lunch. We had a fantastic time celebrating Easter and enjoying family time. Lunch was fantastic! You quickly ate pork tenderloin, lima beans and apple sauce before heading upstairs for a much needed nap.
The boys watched The Masters. It was an extra special Masters, since Daddy's friend, Bubba, won. Daddy and Bubba grew up playing golf together.
Before lunch, we snuck a few family pictures in, although you weren't too happy about it. Here are the attempts:
