Fall fun!

I'm a bit behind on my posts lately. A move will do that to you. Despite all we've had going on, we've managed to find time to enjoy some quintessential fall activities.

One of our favorite things to do as a family in the fall is visit the pumpkin patch and corn maze. Unfortunately for us, we chose the hottest day ever to go! We arrived when the place opened, but it was already hot by mid morning. Hannah was a trooper! We had to shorten our trip and skip the actual corn maze because of the high temps. We had fun, nonetheless!

She got to practice milking a cow. Her Great-Grandaddy would be proud!

We all enjoyed the hay ride around the farm!

Hannah showed us her strength. She's pretty strong!

And she drove the John Deere!

It was a great day!

Further proof...

Further proof this child is her daddy...

Wes is not a fan of Mac and Cheese. I LOVE it! Seriously, I'll order it from any menu and could eat it every day. Hannah? Not so much. I've tried multiple times and with multiple varieties...from Kraft to homemade. The kid won't eat it. She had a sample from Costco last week, took one bite and turned up her nose saying "Mommy, I don't like Mac and Cheese."

I won't touch green beans with a 10 foot pole. Wes loves them! Every now and then, I'll make Wes green bean casserole. It's a favorite of his and just because I don't like it, doesn't mean I shouldn't make it for my family. I just don't eat it ;) So, today was one of those days. Hannah and I made the green bean casserole. Wes was working late, so I pulled out a portion for Hannah to have with her dinner. She devoured it! Seriously, she practically licked the bowl clean.

She is her father's daughter...
