I'm late with this post, but better late than never!
A few weeks ago, we went strawberry picking at Washington Farms with my Aunt Susan. We had a blast! Hannah was so excited about picking with Aunt Susan.
Susan and I joked that they needed to weigh Hannah before and after her trip. Hannah would pick one strawberry, deposit it in the bucket, and then eat a strawberry. This pattern pretty much continued the entire visit.
Into the bucket...
Into the mouth...
Hannah was happy and carefree during her visit. She had so much fun bouncing up and down the rows, picking berries, eating them and singing songs. She eventually decided she needed to take her shoes off. Clearly, it was more comfortable! She also sat down and dug in the dirt for about 30 minutes of our visit. When the mood strikes......
This is one of my favorite pictures. It clearly captures the heart and soul of my precious girl. Carefree and happy!
Aunt Susan's bucket is almost full!
Teaching Hannah how to identify the best berries.
Our loot!
One more taste... Her face is saying, "I'm so full, but just One. More. Bite!"
A morning well spent :)
We made a strawberry yogurt cake to take to Alabama for Mother's Day. Delicious! There's nothing better than fresh-picked strawberries!
