Hannah was a bit of a late bloomer in growing hair. She always rocked a "soul patch" on the back of her head towards her neck, but was otherwise completely bald. Around her first birthday, the hair started to appear. Needless to say, we haven't really needed a haircut. Her hair has really grown over the past year and she has gorgeous curls (one of the only things that she did get from me)! Recently, Miss H has been looking a bit shaggy, so I took her in for her first hair cut.
Hannah was nervous until they told her she could watch TV and eat a sucker. Her pal, Minnie Mouse, was there for support too.
I was nervous that they were going to whack all of her beautiful curls off. I was told to get a good, clean cut they'd have to chop 4 inches off of her hair. I couldn't risk losing the curls just yet (they are so sweet), so I asked them to cut an inch and clean up the figure. I was a wimp, but those sweet curls are just too precious.
Hannah walked away with a cleaner cut, stick on earrings, and a "first hair cut" certificate. She was so excited! I walked away happy with her new cut and relieved her curls stuck around.

Painting fun!
Hannah and her sweet friend, Kyle, had quite a morning exploring the wonderful world of art. We went to the cutest little open art studio that catered to little ones. They had tons of fun art supplies from feathers and stickers to glitter and polished glass. These two spent over two hours creating their own little masterpieces. Kyle was very thoughtful and methodical in his creations. Hannah was a bit more abstract and carefree. Both were extremely proud of their artwork.
