The Small Things....

One of my favorite blogs reminds me how much I love the small things. Whether it's collecting acorns, making leaf bouquets, or kissing stuffed animals on the nose... You show me how the simple things make life worth living.

This is my favorite "simple" shot. I walked into your room after a nap to discover you'd lined your animals up between your crib rail and wall. You were talking to them and kissed each one on the nose. The expression on your face says... what mom? They needed to be eye level... of course!!!

Go Tigers!

Fall is my favorite time of the year. Being back in the SE, brings additional joys. Clemson Football is a family tradition. Tailgating, parades, family and football. It's the best! Being away for the past 6 years has been tough. We managed to get you to a game last year and are happy to take you more often this year.

Susie and I took you and Megan to the First Friday parade. It's something I remember doing with my cousins and a fun thing we wanted to start with y'all. The two of you LOVED it!!! You enjoyed running around Bowman field and were in awe when the parade started. The cheerleaders and the band were the highlights for sure.

I'm so proud of how well you do during the games. We've made it through half time! Here's to hoping the rest of the season goes that well.

SO COOL!

We don't hoist you up on our shoulders very often, so when I did for this picture you clung to me like an octopus.

Feeling a bit more comfortable here

The heat was clearly getting to us here

Hanging out with Daddy and Uncle Bob

Who should I cheer for?

Heading down to our seats

Checking out the cheerleaders

My, my... how our annual Clemson date has changed over the years.

Love tailgating with Daddy!

Special Birthdays

You and Maymee share a very special day. You were born on her birthday.  She has celebrated you from your first breath and we are fortunate to spend this year celebrating, in person, with her! She even taught you how to blow out the candles on a birthday cake. That's an essential life skill ;)
